European Healthy Soils: Soil Fertility
The European Healthy Soils Conference Series will kick off its first edition focused on the topic of soil fertility from 13 to 15 September 2023 in Muttenz, Switzerland. The event will explore the relevance of healthy soils and soil fertility as prerequisite for a functioning society, environment, economy, and climate. The range of the topics covered will vary from regenerative agriculture to the EU Mission Soil, and threats on soil biodiversity, biogeochemical cycles, microbial communities and soil amendments, among others. It is co-organised by the FHNW School of Life Sciences and Agroscope, under the umbrella of the European Federation of Biotechnology divisions of Plant, Agriculture & Food and Environmental Biotechnology.
